Explanation
The general principle is that membership in the USA based voting categories will bring the fullest privileges. The policy statements herein shall also apply within the context of BACC best practice, to all members of EACC and any other member participating in consequence of reciprocal arrangements.
Any member, whose category of membership is either C or D above, i.e. a non-business interest, must observe that privilege through personal use only, of any BACC generated information likely to be of value to the business community. Members in these categories who at any subsequent stage have cause to seek business information for non-personal use from, or through their membership privileges, should first apply for, a voting status of membership. Any such member, until the appropriate status has been granted, must refrain from exceeding the non-voting membership privileges in this context.
Some convergence of categories may be achieved in the future, e.g. as we perceive changes in the shape of business and its relationship with civic, educational and social institutions.
All members will receive regular mailings, bulletins, updates, notices etc. Only voting members may take advantage of the entire range of benefits such as web page opportunities and hyperlinks.
Non voting members will receive as many benefits as we are able to offer without detriment to the privileges of voting members. For example, admission to events that are also open to non-members will be discounted to all of our members regardless of status.
